During my second to last class in EDCI 403, I learned a really fun tic tac toe activity for learning about the human system. We were all separated into groups and were given a body system to focus on. My groups focus was on the digestive system. We were then given tic tac toe sheets which we then used to take ideas from to incorporate in our diagram and other activities we could do throughout the unit. I have to be honest, I am still trying to comprehend the tic tac toe part of it but the activity breaking off into groups and then creating our diagrams show casing our designated body system was very fun and engaging! This type of activity could also be used for so many other big ideas and subjects as well. As you can see from the following examples, there was a lot of learning in this activity and there were actually quite a few things I didn’t even know about the digestive system that I learned from this. I could see students having so much fun with this and it also promotes communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills as well!

This is the diagram of the digestive system which my group made (it’s me).
